İbrahim Haselçin

İbrahim Haselçin graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University, Department of Economics and Finance. Between 1983 and 1991, he served as a Specialist Auditor at the Capital Markets Board. In subsequent years, he held the position of General Manager at various brokerage firms.

In 2002, İbrahim Haselçin graduated from the Faculty of Law at Marmara University, and in 2006, he completed his master’s degree at Kocaeli University, Department of Private Law, at the Institute of Social Sciences. The topic of his thesis was “Dematerailization of Securities in Turkish Law.”

Specializing in Financial Law, particularly in Capital Markets and Commercial Law legislation, İbrahim Haselçin has extensive experience and expertise in providing legal consultancy services to public joint-stock companies, brokerage firms, stock exchanges, and other financial institutions, as well as to domestic and foreign individuals and legal entities.

Between 2004 and 2014, İbrahim Haselçin served as legal counsel at the Turkish Capital Markets Association. Additionally, during this period, he was a commentator on economics and capital markets law on the BloombergHT channel.

Currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Private Law, at Istanbul Kültür University, İbrahim Haselçin is proficient in English.
